Rock your Rainbow at Mankato Pridefest 2010!

Don’t miss the 9th annual celebration of the fantastic LGBTA communities in South Central Minnesota!  This year the main event will be in Mankato’s newest outdoor venue, Riverfront Park.  This new location will prove to make Pridefest 2010 the best Mankato Pride to date!

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS AND ATTRACTIONS:

Friday, September 10

8pm.  Pride Kick-off Queer-aoke Party

featuring the Night Owls DJ/Karaoke Service.  Pub 500, 500 Front Street, Mankato.

Saturday, September 11

11:15am.  Mankato Pride Parade.

Rock your rainbow down Riverfront Drive.  This year’s parade will start at the Blue Earth County Library parking lot, march down Riverfront Drive, and end at the festival grounds at Riverfront Park, Mankato.

12pm-6pm MANKATO PRIDEFEST!

Riverfront Park, Mankato.

Featuring Music, Food, Exhibitors, Rainbow Health Tent, Beer Garden, Dance Classes, Kids Crafts, Inflatable Fun Activities, and more!

12pm-Sleeper and the Sleepless, 1pm-The Golden Bubbles, 2pm-Rakstar Fusion Belly Dancers, 3pm-Fish Frye, 4pm-Tombstone Trio, 5pm-Far from Falling.  Click here to learn more about the bands!

8pm-12am. Pride Dance Party!

Unfortunately, Mankato does not allow Pets at Mankato Parks, including Riverfront Park.  SCMN Pride regrets that you’ll have to leave your four legged friends at home.

Please check out Riverfront Park’s website in advance.  Parking in the park itself will be limited to food vendors, performers, and our friends with disabilities.  Vendors will have access to load and unload.  Parking maps can be found here for your convenience.
